Dr. Abboudi graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training and an additional year of training in surgery of the hand and upper extremity at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Abboudi has been recognized in his training with a number of awards. He was granted a full academic scholarship for medical school as a Robert Wood Johnson Merit Scholar. He has been elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. He is an active member of the academic faculty at Jefferson Medical College, and is involved with the education of orthopaedic residents and medical students.

Dr. Abboudi has a special interest in disorders and injuries of the shoulder, elbow, and hand, including arthroscopy and microsurgery. He works closely with an on-site hand therapy service to provide optimum care and convenience to his patients.
