Dr. Levicoff was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 2003 and subsequently completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Following his residency, he spent one year training as a fellow at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, studying with nationally renowned surgeons and learning the most current techniques in joint replacement and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Levicoff has strived to distinguish himself at every level of training. While at Jefferson Medical College, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and he was honored to be named “Most Outstanding Resident” by his peers and mentors during his chief resident year at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Levicoff has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters discussing various aspects of orthopedic surgery, and he has been invited to present his research several times on a national level.

In addition to specializing in joint reconstructive surgery, Dr. Levicoff also has a strong background in the management of acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, and he enjoys delivering both operative and nonoperative care for a number of both common and complex orthopedic conditions.
