Dr. Walsh graduated from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware and received his Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine after completing a fellowship at Healthplex Sports Medicine of Crozer-Keystone Health System.

Currently, Dr. Walsh serves as the Head Team Physician for Rosemont College, Malvern Preparatory School, and Upper Merion High School. He is a team physician for Radnor High School. Dr. Walsh is also the sports medicine physican for Villanova University's Women's Basketball Team.

His practice is centered on athletes and active people of all ages, and he has a special interest in disorders related to running. He provides non-operative treatment for the entire spectrum of orthopaedic injuries, and performs video gait analysis and custom foot orthotic fabrication on-site.

Dr. Walsh is one of the few physicians in the Philadelphia area who is trained in Prolotherapy - injection treatments for chronic pain syndromes.

Dr. Walsh teaches sports medicine to the Family Practice residents at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
